Having had enough of it, I shut down the nuclear reactor and watched "What
Lies Beneath" on my own and scared myself shitless. I decided that I'd spend
some time looking at a screen without ghosts :-) so I fired up the box again
and installed Netscape 6 as mentioned. Loaded the page ans sure 'nuff - the
GIFs came from the cache. Ran Netscape again, loaded the page, and things
worked just as they should - even got all TCP_HIT rather than TCP_IMS_HIT.
Go figure - I certainly can't.

I was about to send this and I decided I'd have a quick look again and lo -
the bad old behaviour with the TCP_CLIENT_REFRESH_MISS crap is back. Must
have just been scared off for a minute by MEF.
