Just to note, although the 2.4.11 patch is named patch-2.4.11-dontuse -
you still need to apply it, and then patch-2.4.12

it means don't use the compiled kernel, not don't use the patch!.

This may appear obvious to everyone on the list, but it may confuse
people....
