Detail is occasionally available from NTL's website, or by phoning
them and waiting four hours for someone to pick up, but it
approximates this:

* Templogue and Terenure in Dublin only; I've no idea about the rest of
  the city.

* Nominal bandwidth cap of some large number of MB; I'm not sure what
this is, but it's enough to watch a quicktime movie as it downloads,
which is rather neat. One of the recommended cable modems has a max
bandwidth of 34MB, so I guess that's your theoretical limit.

* Phonecalls and TV through the same pipe, but not in such a way as to
  affect your game of Counterstrike.

* Apparently, the customer service on the nerd side is on some other
planet to the customer service on the TV side, as the reps seem to
know what they're talking about and are very responsive (i.e. my
friend who got the service installed had his cable modem enabled
late on a friday evening simply by phoning in the mac address).

Cheers,
Waider.
