I would agree 100% with this. In a previoud incarnation I worked on
client sites for my company, mainly in the Financial Sector and dealing
with M$ monkeys all the time. I couldn't believe the people I was
dealing with had masters and Phd's and M$ certified this that and the
other. In the field/real world the showed that they didn't know how to
apply the knowledge and spent most of their time refering back to their
course books to fix problems.
The ability to do IT exams doesn't make you good at IT. I firmly believe
that.
