I have RedHat linux 7.1 running on a Compaq Proliant DL580 with 2 * 9.1GB
ULTRA3 SCSI disks mirrored. I am trying to configure a fibre array
Controller to recognise the compaq StorageWorks RAID ARRAY 4100 which
contains 12 * 18.2GB ULTRA3 SCSI disks through Linux but it will not pick
up the 2nd Array Controller. There is nothing wrong with the hardware
itself as the Compaq SmartStart Utility sees all the hardware no problems.
I have installed the Compaq Array Configuration Utility XE version 1.20.4.0
for Linux but it will not see the other Array. I also installed the
cpqacuxe-1.20-4.0.i386.rpm.
Here is a list of the Partition table at present. I am looking to mirror
the 12 * 18.2 GB with RAID 1 given my roughly 90GB of free space as a
single volume.
