[ILUG] x 10 and Printer Control

I am using Red Hat 7 on an old 486 to connect a number of Win9x machines and
one other Linux PC. It has my trusty old HP LaserJet 4 connected and it
provides printing for all through Samba.

I have x10 Home Control on the 486 using "heyu" .

"heyu turn [module code] on/of" turns the printer on and off

However, can anyone tell me exactly how to get this working automatically so
that the printer turns on when there is work for it and goes off some time
later if there is no further prnting jobs.

My biggest problem is that I am almost entirely clueless.

I have looked at scripts for this but do not know what to do with them.

What I need is to be told what to write and where!!!!

I have also looked at Bluelava and MisterHouse though I cannot get either of
them to work.

I would also like to talk to anyone who has experience of a simple web
interface for x10 control.

Thank you in advance.

Regards,

Brian Carroll
