I did consider this, and I asked the guy to check and AFAIK that's not the
issue. Again, this is only a problem with one site (so far) and it's a site
which we own, so changing the server's configuration is not a problem, if we
could only discover what to change :-) BTW some of you mentioned MTU size as
a direction to look because of PPPoE issues - this is not the problem here
as this particular installation doesn't use PPPoE - the telco supplies a
3Com ADSL router/hub combination.

P.S. As I'm mentioning ADSL - I'm in Germany at the minute, and I was just
informed that ADSL here from Deutsche Telekom costs 65DM (~33 Euro or IR£23
for those of you still thinking in old money :-) ) a month which includes
equipment rental.
