Even if Microsoft was up to something dodgy, whoever wrote that page confuses
the issue by dragging up examples of evil behaviour that are nothing of the
sort. Like IE keeping track of URLs, which it uses for autocomplete. Which
all browsers do nowadays. Not very evil.
Anyone who is still using Microsoft software at this stage can hardly
complain about privacy issues. Or viruses. Or crashing software. People don't
mind crap, as long as it's the crap they are familiar with.
