I think he's going more on historic stuff, than recent. For texture-heavy
games, like wolfenstien, users are reporting Radeon 8500 to be much faster
for most games than nVidia cards, which is surprising. I'm not sure about
"better quality" images, as it's subjective, but a lot of people are very
happen with their Radeon-rendered scenes.
Anyone know what sort of frame rate a Radeon 8500 gets on Linux, vs.
Windows ?
