'Technically clueful' in the context of an operating systems course would
include a knowledge of more than one server OS. Not to denigrate expertise
in one area, but unless they also have knowledge of alternative ways of
doing things, then i wouldn't regard them as very well-informed.

Well, the original poster said that only a couple of people were interested
in it, and made no mention of their having to do anything as part of the
