No what I mean to say that I can download a src file and have it working
very quickly after complie. With some RPM, thoins are put into unusaual
places like /usr/bin instead of /usr/local/bin etc etc its just a small
thing I find with RPM and Redhat and does not happen as much these days. But
stuff like having to dload the src rpm and modify it to meet my requirements
is a pain in the ass. Also if I download a src (tgz) and its a simple
./configure make and make install usually it will install to /usr/local/bin/
instead of /usr/bin. Their just small irritations that I find, but Iwould
not say that they major.
