Not going to be much help here, I dont have KMail infront of me, but I do
know that there is a config option in the preferences somewhere that allows
you to configure the compose window with a drop down list of your identities
so that you choose which identity you are going to use when composing a
message / reply.
One obviously is default for composing new messages. The only gripe I ever
had with KMail and identites was that when replying to a mesage it ALWAYS
uses the default identity by default.... other mailers out there with
multiple identies typically have a default, but for replies will always
reply by default from the identity which the original was received.
One thing that is really nice with KMail and identites is the association of
signatures with identies, so you change identity using the drop down list,
and it automatically changes the signature that was inserted in the message.
