Surely a better idea would be to copy all the packages to the hard disk,
and set up debian (or uprmi on Mandrake etc) to look for packages there?
That makes it much faster to install packages, and 3 CDs of packages is
less than 2 gigabytes, which easily fits on modern hard disks... Most people
probably have more than 2 gigabytes of MP3s =)
