 Oh, the virus protection can still work, even under linux. However, that's
not it. The machine is a Dell Optiplex, and doesn't have such a thing (not
that I'd turn it on, if it was...).

 BTW, is there a way to get rid of the;

 "can't locate module for eth0:[1,64]"

 errors on boot ?
