I enjoyed it, but YMMV. Stephen Bury is a nom-de-plume for Stephenson
cowriting with his uncle, I am told, meaning it's not "pure"
Stephenson. Some say this makes it better than if it was Stephenson
alone. I'm not particularly in the business of reviewing books,
mind. I guess if you've read The Cobweb and liked that, you'd like
Interface.

To drag myself slightly back on topic, does anyone have a ZoomAir 4000
(2Mb wireless) working with Linux? The current state of the bits on
the net is that 2Mb development stopped some time ago, presumably
because 11Mb came onstream, and the halted development means that the
drivers as-is work with 2.2 only. There are some patches for 2.4 which
may work. However, I'm having trouble getting the 2.2 drivers working
on a 2.2 box with a PCI-PCMCIA card. If you've got this sort of setup
working, or you've debugged similar into a working state, I'd
appreciate a pointer or two.

Cheers,
Waider.
