The Linux incompatibility is caused by the simple fact that the service
is (at the moment) only supplied with a USB satellite modem.
I've put some more technical info up on a site
(http://www.bite-ltd.com/phpBB/viewforum.php?forum=8&4) it's not much
but then again Educom are not very forthcoming with technical details...

We installed it for a client recently and seems to work very well.
Macaffee 3 Mb AV updates downloading in less than a minute.
The only problem is that, at the moment, it's completely M$-based.
Can't connect it to a Linux workstation and if you're connecting it to a
network it needs a proxy server running on an M$ O/S.
In a couple of months they will have a product available that connects
directly to the LAN and does away with the need for a M$-based proxy
server.
Mail me off-list if you need any more info or technical details.
