RE: [ILUG] Mail dequeue question

Thanks for the answer, I should be a bit more specific.

All our customers used to send an ETRN command to Eircom's relay host to
dequeuing waiting mail to their server (i.e. external mail destined for
their server, but mailbagged at Eircom.net). I already do flush the local
queue in ip-up.local by sending a sendmail -q command when the connection is
live.

Now we've been told to send an EHLO command instead and that ETRN is no
longer supported. I've only ever done this under 'doze apps, so I'm not
sure what the procedure is with Linux-based mail servers. I've got some
info on fetchmail, so I'll see if that solves my problem.

Thanks

Matt
