I need them all.
How do I setup the Alcatel to use PPPoE? I assume that assigning the ip of
the alcatel as my default gateway to the connected nic would be the next
logical step. Do I need to append the routing section of the alcatel
configuration to make this work?

Eircom adsl uses PPPoE. But the Alcatel should work straight out of the box.
