Fair point, (and to be honest I agree wholeheartedly)

The problem is two-part though ... these are the machines that are spare
here and I've been given one for this project ... the people I'll be demoing
to do know the restrictions, so that won't be too bad in the end ...

Eventually the base machines will be 128MB PII mid-range ones that are too
low spec to run XP etc ... but still reasonably useful for day-to-day office
word-processing etc ... that's what we're aiming at right now ... (That and
people who spend their days working on NT boxes, but using nothing but X
sessions exported to eXceed anyway <g>)
