Don't know that this will be of any help but I'm running Suse 8 on a
Dell Dimension 8100 usb mouse and adsl modem without any problems.
Easiest way I've found to install the NVidia drivers is to do an online
update beforehand then following the instructions mailed to root to
complete the configuration. But then again, I'm pretty new to Linux so
you probably have a better idea of what you're doing.
