Sounds familiar, I gor hit for 80 on 300 worth

Goods were marked as promotional goods which should have been exempt, irish
customs thought better and classified them as clothing

Yep. I got charged £30 on £60 worth of tshirts last year. Funny, I've never
had problems ordering from anywhere else.
