Yeah it's amazing that foreign corporations are taxed so low, but the Irish
consumer is rodgered at any given opportunity, welcome to the wonderful
world of pulpit politicians, where the best place for people seeking asylum
in our Republic is 'jail' and despite paying near 1.5 times as much for a
car as our European neighbours and having petrol that is three times as
expensive as that in the USA, the potholes in the capital of our country are
a national disgrace... but never fear Bertie and his gloriuos religious
soldiers of stoic conviction will save us. Never mind the lexicon of
hardworking Irish people... yes it must be the Mary Harney's of this world
galavanting off to the openings of bags of chips in state planes that makes
Ireland great. It must be the state's stubborn refusal to allow RyanAir
build the second Terminal at Dublin Airport 'prefarring to spend public
money on that', that has made a tiger economy. That and the perfuse talent
of Irish politicians to spend the economny into a small deficit at the start
of this year despite economic growth being what 6-8%, hats off to our
patriotic glorious comradic rulers, wizened and benavolent.

Hail bob,Che Lives.

Why I oughta...

I ordered 2 t-shirts from thinkgeek, total price $29.
Customs got their grimy hands on them and charged:
EUR8 duty + EUR12 "handling fee" + EUR5 COD charge. So
EUR25 extra for something that costs $29. I'm sorry
but that's extortion, so I sent them back.

Padraig.
