Watch it people!!! He's been able to get two devices working...he is
obviously way more intelligent than the rest of us, so we should throw
away the work of tens of thousands of developers and use ancient systems
like slackware, else we aren't really Linux Users.
Or, the more intelligent amongst us would just buy devices that weren't
such a pain to use & setup.

I think you are confused. We were saying that getting a modem working
wasn't hardly sufficently impressive to convince us that despite most of
your previous posts, you may not be as dangerous as you seem around a
linux box in a commerical environment.

Did it get accepted into the kernel source ? Or was it just something
trivial that you copied off the net ? Would you think that telling us you
wrote such a module promotes you to Alpha Geek and we should respect your
authority ?
