Hi,
I am having problems with KPPP trying to connect to IOL.
KPPP dials IOL which connects and responds 499330/ARQ
Then KPPP says starting pppd and logging into network. About 10 seconds
later I get the error message that the pppd daemon died unexpectedly on
error code 16. The manpage for pppd says that 16 is a modem hangup.
The debug output from pppd is as follows:

I am using pap authorisation and have default route ticked in the KPPP
setup.
( I also have name and password in their boxes)

I have "googled" but failed to find an answer. Finally hope the above is
readable as I am back to outlook express until I get my Linux box sorted on
dial up!
