nono..
Its a disk array managed by raid manager. It appears as LUN's and not separate
disks eg:
8. c2t5d0 <Symbios-StorEDGEA1000-0301 cyl 65533 alt 2 hd 64 sec 84>
/pseudo/rdnexus at domain 2/rdriver at domain 5,0
Part Tag Flag Cylinders Size Blocks
2 backup wu 0 - 65532 167.99GB (65533/0/0) 352305408
The D1000 is just standard disks that you need Disksuite/whatever to get RAID,
perhaps this is what youre thinking of?

Has 9 disks, you telnet in and configure it with the RAID of your choice. It
presents 2 `disks`/LUNs back to solaris:
2. c1t2d0 <SUN-T300-0117 cyl 34530 alt 2 hd 48 sec 128>
/ssm at domain 0,0/pci at domain 1c,600000/SUNW,qlc at domain 1/fp at domain 0,0/ssd at domain w50020f230000564f,0
3. c1t2d1 <SUN-T300-0117 cyl 34530 alt 2 hd 48 sec 128>
/ssm at domain 0,0/pci at domain 1c,600000/SUNW,qlc at domain 1/fp at domain 0,0/ssd at domain w50020f230000564f,1
2 backup wu 0 - 34529 101.16GB (34530/0/0) 212152320
All on the web site http://www.sun.com/storage if people want more info.
go there - buy stuff ;)
