Perhaps useful, I believe cvs add is supposed to add a new file
according to what is in the relative file CVS/Tag. What is the prefixed
letter to the tag name in there ? An N for non-sticky tag? or a T for a
nice branch point? Methinks you need it to be Tlinux_gateway to get
cvs to add it to a branch of that name, though it should have already
been that way.
http://www.loria.fr/~molli/cvs/cvs-FAQ/cvsfaq10.html might be useful.
