I have two modems on two different machines which will answer
incoming calls no problem, however if I try to dial out with either
of them they don't seem to be able to pick up the line which is
routed through a small PABX. It isn't anything to do with
digiatl/analog lines as far as I know since a fax machine can pick up
that same line no problem.
I have an idea this may be related to the strength of the signal on
the line, but I can't get access to a plain Telecom line at the
moment to check this out. Is there some AT command which I can use
to raise or lower some tolerance on the modem ? If you know what I
mean ?
Thanks,
David
