Mornin',
I've just installed Mandrake 6.0 (which is based on Redhat 6.0) with
lots of bells and whistles, and it's working very nicely indeed, but for some
reason samba is a bit screwed up. I have a number of smb shares setup, and when
I do a "smbclient -L babbage" I get the following:
Domain=[KILMURRY] OS=[Unix] Server=[Samba 2.0.5a]
Sharename Type Comment
--------- ---- -------
steve Disk Private
cedric Disk Private
braz Disk Private
music$ Disk MP3's etc.
worms$ Disk
q2$ Disk
hl$ Disk
df$ Disk
sources Disk
IPC$ IPC IPC Service (Beware the dark side of the fluff...)
Server Comment
--------- -------
BABBAGE Beware the dark side of the fluff...
TANNER
Workgroup Master
--------- -------
KILMURRY TANNER
which is correct. However, if I look at \\babbage from an NT machine, all I see
is a share called BABBAGE, which I can't view. Anyone have any ideas? I copied
my smb.conf from my previous redhat install, which worked fine, but this one
seems screwed up.
Steve
