OK, thanks for the info.

I wasn't actually suggesting I was doing this,
I just wanted to compare all the options currently
available in the Irish market.

Info I've got so far is that if you want to host
stuff locally then leased line is way to go.

If you just want a connection that's always
giving users instant access to email/news/irc/www...
then the Esat/IOL combination cost of £2560/year
seems the way to go? Juring the day you can also
save some costs by dropping the connection if no
packets pass within 7.5 minutes, but then you
have a trade off of 30 delay for the next access,
so a common sense figure would be 9 mins?
What would people think would the max num of people
that could share a 56K connection just for moderate
email use? 40?
