The Mr ISDN TA should just function as a normal serial modem with the
exception that you will have to turn off vj compression in the options of
your ppp daemon.

Vis-à-vis your specific problem with it not being detected <shrug>, you
should make sure that your configuration files are pointing to /dev/ttyS0 or
/dev/ttyS1 conducive with where it is the modem is attached to.
