Yes, my original post was unclear. Too much sugar & coffee leads to
giddyness :--)
What I wan't to test is
I have exported via nfs from my X86 linux box /usr/local/games (ro) which
contains CIVCTP as our example.
I mount it from my sparc running Solaris to /mnt/games
But how can I patch the game without running linux sparc itself? Thats why I
wanted to know if solaris has linux emulation mode.
I see the problem though, I shouldn't have mentioned X86 at all.
So is there a linux emulation mode for solaris on sparc?
Cheers,
CW

"But wil it run my linux Civilisation CTP? I see there are SPARC binaries to
download so I was thinking of getting them, patching the
game, then run linux emulation mode to play the game."
sounds like linux emulation rather than x86 emulation to me.
