From the 'Information Update' Leaflet in the PE1650 box I have here:
<paraphrased>
At the redhat bot prompt when booting off the CD, type 'expert noprobe'.
When asked for a driver disk, choose 'No'. Set language, installation media,
etc.
In the devices window, select 'Add Device', and select 'Adaptec AACRAID
(aacraid)'.
(This next bit may be particular to the PERC3/Di, but, I'll add it for
completeness).
Select 'Specify Module Paramteres'. When the box appears, add the following to
the miscellaneous field:
aacraid_pciid=0x1028,0x0A,0x1028,0x011B
Then install as normal. The dell site also provides redhat drivers and
instructions for this sort of thing.
