Hi,
I have a problem with a SCSI termination issue :
2 drives, Seagate 36GB 10krpm's, attached to an Adaptec 2940U2W
card. The drives claim to require external termination :
http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/iguides/scsi/100141983a.pdf
and the system gives SCSI parity errors and locks up when trying
to format/install Redhat 7.3.
I can't find a 68-pin SCSI terminator anywhere in Dublin, and I
just want to make certain that this is in fact what is required
and that there's no way of forcing the drives/card to terminate
correctly on their own.
Assistance urgently required ;-)
Regards,
Vin
