Thanks I really appreciate all your help!
But to simplify the code into an mini example would
take a alot of time and effort :-
Our application comprises of a controlling process
written in C which executes application modules which
are actually compiled from a Basic like type language
into C object code, trying to distill that mess into
something that reproduces the problem that I can send
out could take all week, so won't be doing that sorry!
lol
Anyway we are going to migrate from this code to Java
so as long as my sleep delay fixes the problem, I am
happy with that.
