We had a few analog lines out here, and they were pre-called by
Eircom. All failed. We ordered in 3 new analog lines, (because
Eircom said they couldn't guarantee that one of them would work) and
they pre-called perfectly.

They can't guarantee that this will work all the time, but from our
experience it tends to. If you're still going to make a considerable
saving on switching to ADSL (one customer of ours is saving roughly
10 grand a year, and I'm sure you could save more), this might be
worth your while.
