Better yet, how about a simple applet that displays something like
[inbox] | [trash]
[personal] | [spam]
[Ilug] | [kernel]
Where the little boxes are filled with the names of folders, and each
folder is described like:
pop3:username:password:host
imap:valen:password:host
exchange:valen:password:host
local:filename
For non-local stuff, just spawn off fetchmail -c every five
minutes...trivial...
