I have to say that I was surprised by those figures too. Last time I saw an
Oracle quote (which to be fair was in the dot con days) it was in the order
of hundreds of kilopunts and that was for no users i.e. a web server
database backend. AFAIR it was in the tail end of Oracle's "Power Unit"
pricing phase.
