Irritating little something here. I kinda think I saw it mentioned before
but I'm not sure. Anyhow, using Openssh 2.9p2 (yeah, I know I need to
upgrade...), in X, I ssh to a remote machine, launch OpenOffice.org, do my
stuff and exit. The ssh session however, persists. It seems to happen
with processes that require to be interrupted
(eg. ssh server 'tail -f internet_connect.log' or ssh server 'soffice')
The first terminates on a CTRL-C while OOo gets a "file-exit". In each
case, the ssh session is left lying around even though the windows are
gone. The session persists even after exiting X.
netstat shows a pair of "ESTABLISHED" connections between localhost:33314
and server:ssh
Any thoughts?
