Apparently www.domainregistry.ie is now being hosted on some awful
Windows 'CMS'. The box for this is on a UUnet network in the USA. Apart
from the obvious insult to the Irish internet community, (hosting what
purports to be the national domain registry in another country), the
overall reliability of IEDR's new system has suffered.
The Windows 'CMS' twists back to IEDR's Dublin webserver. It is
difficult to understand the simplistic mentality that would require a
supposed CMS for what is essentially a small static html site with
aperiodic updates.
