What type of authentication?? There's a python script somewhere on the
net (just got this url -- http://www.geocities.com/rozmanov/ntlm/)
although this is meant to be a way around M$ NTLM proxy auth it might do
what you want.
So, installing that and then use an iptables rule to reroute all web
traffic to localhost:proxy_port and that should do the job.
