ok, i have a compaq 305 laptop which since installing rh7.3 has played
nicely with apm. well, generally nicely. slight issue with harddrive
or wireless card not sleeping quickly enough. but otherwise ok.

however, when i pull the power lead out from the laptop (not from the
wall) sometimes - 1 out of 5 times - the laptop shuts off. i do note
that linux adjusts lcd brightness and some other things. could it be
an os issue, or is it a wonky hardware issue?
