i should be more clear on this. this is not a disable popenp (or
pop-under) windows issue. i have that disabled. this is i click on
a link and the new page runs some sort of javascript that forces that
window to stay on top of the stacking order.
there was a recent security warning about galeon which suggested this
workaround to avoid privacy leaks:
% cat /home/kevin/.galeon/mozilla/galeon/user.js
user_pref("capability.policy.default.Window.onunload", "noAccess");
i'm guessing that if i can find out the bit of javascript that will
affect window stacking order, i can disable it that way.
