1. When the BIOS boot sequence flips through the second, offboard
Adaptec controller, hit CTRL-A to get into the settings and switch
off anything with the word 'boot' in it. Hopefully that'll get rid
of it.

2. Examine the motherboard BIOS for any mention of 'boot offboard
controllers first' or similar wording, and make sure that they're
set to boot from the onboard SCSI first.
