Re: [ILUG] APT for RedHat - what you need to know

Hi,
All this apt stuff sounds cool, but the question I have is does it ONLY
update the RPMs I have installed? I compile Apache / PHP from source and
run qmail as my MTA, so I don't want Sendmail or an Apache/PHP RPM running
around my system. Note that I have no experience of apt or Debian in
general (not 'cos I don't want to, but mainly 'cos I don't have the CDs and
can't be arsed to get them).

Apologies if someone already answered this, I must have missed it.

Cheers,
Ciaran.
