[ILUG] Creating mail spool from news achive

In a fit of brillance, I deleted a mail folder containing a pile of mail.
Fortunatly it's a mailing list and I have access to a UseNet mirror. Is
there any easy way of taking each of the article files and recreating a
mail spool from them?
