Hi guys,
system - 486 dx2/66, 32MB RAM, Adaptec SCSI 1542 aha, 1gig ide HD and 1gig
SCSI.
Partition - /dev/hda1 - dos 200MB
/dev/hda2 - / - apx 760MB
swap apx 40mb
/dev/sda1 - /usr - whole disk
problem - recompilied kernel (messed it up... oops).. but found that most
of the modules dependencies have been messed up, so I can't print or get
on-line or write to /dev/hda1 to backup contents of /home, for example.
How do I go about repairing the damage - any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Richard
