[ILUG] glib2c upgrade ?

I'm currently running RedHat 5.2, but need to use glibc2.1 for some
downloads.
What I would like to know is, how easy to install/upgrade to just
glibc2.1 without downloading half the RedHat 6.0 stuff? Is it possible?
