[ILUG] PCMCIA Modems/Network cards

Hi,

I managed to get my hands on a Xircom Ethernet 10/100 + Modem 56K card, but
I'm having problems trying to get it to work.

I have installed the PCMCIA modules and they come up on bootup (using SuSE
6.1). It detects the card and recognises it as a Xircom card.

But, I cannot seem to access the modem. I've tried Minicom but it hangs.
/dev/modem is pointing to /dev/ttyS3.

Any suggestions? Has anyone else got PCMCIA modem installed, or even the
combo?
