        BeOS has an elegant architecture, but it is only going to be a
curiosity until Be Inc eventually goes under, or AOL finally buy them out.

        Then the OS will become a collectors item and we'll have a bunch of
sites pop up and wax lyrical about it.

        Linux I'm afraid killed BeOS's chances of being the "third option".
Price will allways be against them.
        Be had their IPO recently, hardly anyone noticed though...
