It costs the same as Redhat sure... but it's VERY hard to get a hold of.
Are there any places in Ireland that sell it? I dont have access to a
credit card (credit card + me = uhoh), so that rules out buying over the
internet. It's a shame really.. I'd reeeally like to have that dual
booting on the other windows machine in the house, if - even as someone
pointed out - it was just for "curiousity" value. I just can't get my
hands on the damn thing.

As for the thing about freeware.. I don't know, I havent had BeOS to try
them out on, but I know that PC Plus, as well as giving away linux
software, also give away a roundup of the best BeOS software on almost
every cover cd.

'sides... wouldnt you like to change that lack of freeware thing? I mean,
as well as the fact that there are no cool (/simple) apps left to
write for linux, doesnt saying "I wrote this nifty program for BeOS" give
you a nice tingle? :)
